The Hannah Montana movie

In all other ways, am a fully functional sane 27 year old... and dd is too young (at 3.5) to be interest in good old Hannah.

So, if there are any parents around Notts who hate Hannah but have children who love her, I'm offering my services and I will take them to the cinema for you

I went to flicks with BFF last week. Was embarassed to admit I wanted to see '17 Again' so wound up going to 'Observe and Report' which was crap. Should have put foot down.

We saw Star Trek on Thursday. Fantastic. Brilliant. Amazing.

Can you tell I enjoyed it? Really really hoping there is another one or two with this cast and director etc.

PS. Did I say it was Fantastic?

I went to see this yesterday with dd (7) ds (4) and dh (age undisclosed)

Aw it was fab A real feel good movie! Though there was a sad part in it with a beautiful song....

I came home & ordered the soundtrack of the movie to play in the car for my dd!!

Twims · 10/05/2009 17:40

Took my friends daughters to see 17 again and Hannah Montanna - Hannah Montanna was much better and totally fab! lol was full of the usual cliches but a good movie.

We saw it too and enjoyed it (and I cried at the Butterfly song as DS1 was away at camp on his own for the first time ever).

But the suspension of disbelief is hard, isn't it? If I stuck on a blonde wig, everyone would say: Why's BalloonSlayer got a blonde wig on?, not oooh who's this glamourous person we've never seen before? It was impossible difficult not to take the piss out of that aspect of it to 7 yo DD.
