Bring it on.

OP posts:

DP is a personal friend of his and he says he's 'as common as muck'.
He's definitely no Tory-boy. Very working class Irish background.

foxinsocks · 17/04/2009 19:15

he's lovely he is. Very lovely.

Habbibu · 17/04/2009 19:16

"It's all in the breeding". I'm not sure I want to know what you mean by this.

EdwardCullensWife · 17/04/2009 19:18

Really, he's not a toff.

TheCrackFox · 17/04/2009 19:21

TBH he has the face of someone who still desperately misses fox hunting.

34! My arse.

foxinsocks · 17/04/2009 19:22

why on earth do you all think he is a tory? do you actually read the papers or watch the news lol?

JacquelineBouvier · 17/04/2009 19:26

Damian Mcbride is (was?) a member of the labour party, he was one of Brown's closest aides, not any more obviously.

i don't know if he looks working, middle or upper class but he does look as though he's been drinking since he was about 7.

Habbibu · 17/04/2009 19:26

We don't think he is a Tory - I just thought he had that slightly fleshy look that some toryboys have. But as I said, would require complex analysis.

EdwardCullensWife · 17/04/2009 19:27

FOR THE LAST TIME HE'S NOT AN INBRED TORY. HE'S WORKING CLASS THROUGH AND THROUGH.

Tinker · 17/04/2009 19:29

Is he not just Brueghelesque?

JacquelineBouvier · 17/04/2009 19:32

I do think that some of the so called aristocracy have a certain look, bit horsey, heavy lidded eyes and high cheek bones to go with their perma tans that never look orange and lovely thick, flicky hair (the men as well as the women tend to have flicky hair)

then there are the royals but they're a different inbreed altogether aren't they?

TheCrackFox · 17/04/2009 19:32

I think you are right Tinker, he actually looks like he is from the middle ages.

Thunderduck · 17/04/2009 19:36

The aristocracy do have a certain look, also thanks to centuries of inbreeding.

nickytwotimes · 17/04/2009 19:39

Oh, yes, Thunderduck.
The yah chin as it's known in our house.

Thunderduck · 17/04/2009 19:40

They do have lovely cheekbones though. I'd kill for dp's.

nickytwotimes · 17/04/2009 19:41

Oh, yes, fabulous bone structure. Just those chins let them down. And the floppy hair. And the loud voices.

Gentle · 17/04/2009 19:42

EdwardCullensWife If we all acknowledge your name drop, will you stop shouting?

Thunderduck · 17/04/2009 19:43

LOL. Dp has lovely floppy hair but doesn't have a loud voice. And I could tolerate those two if it meant I could have great cheekbones. Mine are non existent, or at least hidden under several layers of fat.

foxinsocks · 17/04/2009 19:43

lolol Tinker

I haven't heard that word in ages! Marvellous!

nickytwotimes · 17/04/2009 19:44

Ooh, thunderduck, he has the hair but not the voice.

You lucky sod!

Thunderduck · 17/04/2009 19:45

He's very quietly spoken actually, but then he has very little self confidence which explains that. One of his sisters has the most awful bray though.

EdwardCullensWife · 17/04/2009 19:45

I don't think it counts as a name drop. it's Damian McBride not Brad Pitt.

Habbibu · 17/04/2009 19:45

Pah. Lovely cheekbones aren't the preserve of toffs - I come from a long line of Irish peasants with nice cheekbones.

Thunderduck · 17/04/2009 19:47

I'm partly from Irish peasant stock too. Where are my great cheekbones? I demand my birthright!

Quattrocento · 17/04/2009 19:48

I'm shure he shops at Asda
