I don't yank them out any more. Not because I believe for each one two grow back, but because they are more obvious when the rest of your hair is long and you have a 1 inch spiky grey hair poking out!

mermaidspurse · 17/04/2009 12:46

I have decided mine are silver not grey, loads more dignified

ChippingIn · 17/04/2009 16:40

mermaidspurse - mine are silver too, very shiney.... still don't want the little buggers running amok through my dark hair... wish there was something you could use that only died the grey hairs (and worked, according to friends the one advertised to do that doesn't), as I like the rest of it....

YanknCock - I know what you mean, I get them under control, then a little while later have a 'crop' of spikey grey bits, I can't see them in the bathroom mirror, but they show up very well in the car rear view mirror - I wonder which 'view' is the one other people have??? Sigh, they are coming so fast now I think I'm going to have to give in and start dying it soon (no intention of going grey gracefully!!)

Countess - my Mum had very ginger hair!! Hers went grey in such a lovely way that you didn't notice, she just sort of faded, went to a kind of blonde and then more grey, but it's a lovely shade now, sort of ash blonde with more 'ash'.... so although she is now 'grey' she still doesn't really look it and you never saw a grey hair!!

I'm 31.

Started sprouting grey hairs at 25.

Have about 20 now.

I leave them to it these days.
