We're having sweaty bollocks for tea

My son was due to go to his friends house for tea tonight and when asked his friend what they were having, the lad ran off to his mum and then came back citing "sweaty bollocks"

Apparantly code for Spaghetti Bolognese.

AIBU to think it's a bit off talking like this to kids?? As funny as it may be out of their earshot of course.

i certainly wouldnt encourage it.

How old? And how do you know that the mother didn't say spaghetti bolognese and her son just said sweaty bollocks? "Mum says sweaty bollocks" when in fact mum said nothing of the sort.

tigerdroveoverthebunnies · 12/04/2009 18:28

Hecate that's just the sort of thing DS does. I've given up buying peanut butter to avoid this sort of thing

pointydog · 12/04/2009 18:32

YABU

It shows a bit of family humour which is always good. As long as the friend is on the real meaning too.

Seuss · 12/04/2009 19:04

oops - we call it that

valleysprincess · 12/04/2009 19:04

Seuss · 12/04/2009 19:06

Or Sweaty Bollock-knees - if we're being posh

steviesgirl · 13/04/2009 02:59
