It is Good Friday (let's skim over the fact I forgot this until about 3pm today) and in their wisdom the BBC have decided to have saturation coverage of the Masters tonight.

In the olden days it used to be a weekend when the Beeb would treat us to the latest films, like "Moonraker" and "The Great Escape"

IMO you can't even call golf a sport as you can comfortably wear your jumper whilst playing.

I'm on the vodka ...fuck knows what dps watching

BitOfFunnyBunny · 10/04/2009 22:42

I really thought you were about to reveal the amazing "stick the buggy in front of the telly when the golf's on" method of child sedation there, FAQ!

And lol at retiredgoth's "what beast are you driving?..."

TheCrackFox · 10/04/2009 22:42

Solid that is a great theory about Good Friday being about suffering. Even the most hardline Christians would draw the line at watching golf, surely? Self flagellation, yes, golf, no.

My oh was watching too. What is it with these golfers. Glad I got MN to talk to eh?

retiredgoth2 · 10/04/2009 22:45

...perhaps self flagellation with golf bats?

Just a thought.

daisydoris · 10/04/2009 22:47

Ha pointy. These golfers are happy wit small ones aren't they....

pointydog · 10/04/2009 22:55
