Friend is 25.
Her sister is 12, and an immature 12.

Anyway, Friends sister went to friends to see her niece & nephew, 16mths & 8wks. Friend went to her Sisters house leaving her Sister at hers for the night, alone with an 8wk old & 16mo....
Friend will be home tomorrow around 11am..

AIBU to think this is so so wrong?

'Lilyloo I'm posting on Mnet cos I am looking for advice, I dont know the first thing about reporting someone'

Maybe an aibu thread is not ideally the best place to ask for advice then.
Ring the police .........
Social services..........

Well, I got quick replies so thankyou everyone. But the Children (all 3 of them) are safe and with their father as well as the 12yo.

notapparent · 09/04/2009 21:44

Just to clarify - the kids are at home with their Dad, not on their own OP?

Biscuits4cheese · 09/04/2009 21:44

Claire2009 · 09/04/2009 21:44

No address cos she moved v v recently into temp. housing and its not what I ask for? I dont write letters, I know where she lives just not the address and details.

Ah god I posted, the Children are not alone with the 12yo..I rest my case!

8wk old & 16mo at home with their Dad & the 12yo.

The 12yo told me just now she was looking after them and her sister had gone to her Mums, they'd done 'Swappzee's' as she put it. She didnt say ANYTHING about the Childrens Father still being there.

Of course 999 is appropriate in such a situation, in my opinion if you call a police station directly they tell you to call 999 anyway as they can assess urgency of the situation and prioritise. It's not all sirens and blue flashing lights you know...

Bellebelle · 09/04/2009 22:36

Sorry in my experience not opinion.
