are falling out, being nicked by the wretched tooth fairy and being replaced with lopsided, yellowy, randomly placed, huge lumps of enamal coated riff-raff. He used to have fabulous teeth like DH but is now looking more like me. Humph!

Lol at 'riff-raff' teeth

I think when the adult teeth start growing in they can look a bit huge and wrong where previously those dainty little pearly ones were.

But as the child grows their mouth does too so it all starts to look in perspective after a while.

I guess we need a dentist on here to confirm all that, but I think that's what's going anyway.

Blimmin tooth fairy costs me a fortune

Tooth fairy has actually left all teeth so far in my jewelery box. Aww, bless her! Doesn't cost me as much as some of DS's friends who get twetny pound notes!

They get how much .

Can I come to their house and pluck out me teef? At £20 a go it's got to be worthwhile.

fattiemumma · 08/04/2009 19:36

Aww. it is horrible at first.
Ds' "big" teeth really were massive. they seemed way to op big for his mouth. and they looked all crooked and odd. and not quite as lovely and pristine white as his milk teeth.

but as he is growing they seem to slip into place and dont look quite as odd.

Tooth fairy here is £5 for the first tooth then £2 per tooth

ramonaquimby · 08/04/2009 19:45

they will look awkward for a while until they 'grow' into them (I'm not a dentist) have seen nieces and nephews go through this stage and a few years on and they look all good. dd worried about having yellow teeth - she is very gappy at the moment, but they won't look so yellow once all grown in

Our tooth fairy costs a pound a tooth as do many of DS's friends. The twenty pound notes are the exception. Their tooth fairies obviously have more money than sense and haven't heard there's a recession on! Actually, maybe that's where all the nation's money is going....
