I doubt it. We've had pairs of trousers for my DS from many shops and the knees have gone within a month. Could you patch them?

spose I could but pisses me off all the same

I'd take them back and ask for a refund... then you can go and get a decent quality pair from elsewhere (eg Gap, as per your OP).

Ds has had a few pairs from H&M and generally they have been fine. One pair did go through at the knee v quickly (was over a month though) and I took them back for a full reufnd - no problem.

Ive never had any problems with boys H&M jeans. They have always lasted until Ds grows out of them.

This is my bug bear about 'throw away fashion' as they call it. I have had stuff from primark and just accepted it falling apart after one wash because it was cheap. Take them back...see what they say to you.

SebbysMum · 05/04/2009 08:57

I really don't think H&M falls into the throw away fashion category. Most of my son's clothes are from there and I haven't had a single problem. In fact I find that they are robust (despite very heavy wear) and wash well

MilaMae · 05/04/2009 09:58

At £12.99 they could never be called throw away fashion.

I have 5 year old twin boys and have had every make of jeans going. H&M are by far the best imho,Sainsbury's are good too.

Gap and Next were the worst.

Little boys make holes in trousers-fact,for this reason I used to try never to spend more than £5 on a pair, harder now they're older. It's unreasonable to expect any trousers to cope with being ground into the ground, constant falling over, rips etc.

I keep our H&M jeans for days when they won't be trashed and the £5 jeans for the garden, moor, etc.

I'll take them back I think.

Gap and H&M are the only places I can find jeans that fit ds.
