I am wiping away tears of laughter to write this!!

Over supper, a discussion on computer memory arose, and ds1 was trying to explain how it's not the size of a hard drive that matters - and I said, "Yes - that's what your dad is always telling me!!" Now he's saying I was rude - was I??

My software is very flexible!

Mine is a bit old and worn out - do you think I can just get it updated, or will I need a whole new system and motherboard?

I find it important to get a good Support and Maintenance package. A nice Annual tweak, some bug fixing, and it's as good as new.

Don't they have special clinics where you can get help if you have bugs?

If your base unit is giving you trouble, like for instance your dongle keeps dropping out of your slot, or you feel that performance isn't what it was, a professional checkup is the best bet.

Apparently having children can wreak havoc with both equipment and performance for various reasons.

Performance issues can sometimes be sorted out manually as well, my DH is very good at that, or you can upgrade any equipment you are using - get a larger dongle or explore the idea of using different apps in different slots.

I'm a big fan of a dongle! You can take them anywhere and still get sorted out wherever you might be. Especially good on foreign trips. Though if you are using it on the beach you have to make sure you don't get sand in your slot. It plays havoc for ages.
