I feel dreadful, I know a lady who is having twin girls in about 8 weeks time. She told me that it was not a secret about the twins or the girls.
A random conversation with her childminder resulted in me telling the childminder how chuffed this lady was about having 2 girls (as she has 2 boys already).
The childminder flipped out in front of me telling me how upset she was that I had told her that her employer was having girls, that she hates knowing what people are having and that I had totally ruined everything.
She was so upset she ran off crying, leaving me speechless. The following days have seen me blanked by lots of people at pre-school as she has told all of them what I said.
I feel awful but how was I to know.

The childminder may have been upset that as someone who is the carer of the lady's children, she didn't have this information before you, and feels slighted, and that's the reason for her reaction. Just speculating really.

....YANBU!

good point chocolate - this could be the reason but then the mum should have rang/seen the cm and told her

its not op fault

How bizarre. My immediate reaction would be 'get a life' I'm afraid. Very very odd.

Fuck me! She's looking after kids???

Don't feel bad. She obviously reads HEAT, and was probably at Jade's funeral today.

sounds a sandwich short of a picnic. why should she care whether they are boys or girls. they arent her children

She's barking - don't waste another moment thinking about it - life's too short!!!

Oh, well, I would spend '1' more minute thinking about it, while I told the woman expecting twins about her barking CM!! I wouldn't be leaving kids with a woman that bloody unhinged!
