I love Matthew and rarely miss his tv show BUT I have noticed that he has a really short fuse these days and can be extremely rude to some of the callers who don't happen to agree with him.

If you are reading Matthew - the whole point of having a phone-in is to get a wide range of opinions but you get really stroppy if someone has a different opinion than you - stop it!
