im joking obviously but oh my word she is driving me insane.

she is 4 and is the most whingey whiney child i have ever kniwn. someome less kind wuld call her a spoilt brat.

anything thats not precisely as she wants gets a tantrum. she will literally whine from the time she wakes until she finally falls asleep.

i haven't put nough milk in the cereal/too much milk
she doesn't want to wear that outfit/shoes/coat
doesn't want to brush her hair/teeth
doesn't want to go to school
wants sweets after school. no not those sweets, these (ridiculous largeand expensive) sweets.
i dont want to go to nanny/friend/home/neighbour's house
i dont want to play this/that
she can't get the dolly dressed
she doesn't wnt that lunch even though she chose it
she doesn't want to go shopping
wants every single thing she passes whilst in the store.
doesn't want to collect Db from school. doesn't want to go to the park/.shop/home
doesn't want that for her tea even though she chose it
doesn't want a bath. hair wash.teeth brushed
doesn't want tht story
doesn't want to go to bed.

honestly. if i had a stopwatch for each time she whined i think it would take up the vast majority of the day. in fact i would go as far to say that i would be shocked if there was more than 2 hours total of quiet from her.

i really am at my wits end with her.
and i have raised a child with ASD and have been on more challenging behaviour courses than i can remember.

oooh no I don't think so Riven. You could be in there, of course you could try Mia Farrow though her rainbow is almost complete.

GentleOtter · 01/04/2009 19:21

Do you think she would be interested in my ds1 who is a great big hairy dude.
Is he too old at 27 ?

Stayingsunnygirl · 01/04/2009 19:22

I reckon my boys are all to old and whiffy for either Madge or Angelina. Damn.

musicposy · 01/04/2009 20:14

Did I read that Geri Haliwell is looking for a kid? No, actually it might have been a man......there you go, GentleOtter, there's your answer for you!

My eldest could whine for Britain at 4. I'd forgotten that until I read this! She's 13 now but I actually think 4 was worse

Ronaldinhio · 01/04/2009 20:24

d'ya think she's like a pale blue one to add to her horde?
With "strawberry" blond hair?

she seems quite like Madonna in that she is insanely controlling and tbh not a great dancer or singer
she's very independent and can do almost everything herself

just turned two

free to Madonna

FairLadyOfMuslinCloth · 01/04/2009 20:27

well...sounds like a perfect plan...wonder if she'd have my ds2 aswell....

HeadFairy · 01/04/2009 20:27

I love that Guy lets Rocco eat junk and watch tv all the time when he's visiting. That must FREAK madonna out

nancy75 · 01/04/2009 20:29

i did consider offering dd to madge, but then thought sod it, dd can stay with dp, madge can adopt me instead!

Eve · 01/04/2009 20:31

....too late...

after being in 4 hrs with DS Mon night with object up his nose. I phoned her and offered DS2!

Ronaldinhio · 01/04/2009 20:33

The thing that I love is that we don't know if any of this stuff about Madonna is true at all, becasue the Red Tops told us she was a macrobiotic nutjob we all believe it to be so without question.
I can't believe that she is without fun or humour..it seems weird that we always need our stars to have pantomine characteristics to the personalities

For all we know she loves Eastenders and is always in a tracksuit becasue she spends all day on MN and watching Jeremy Kyle with a slendertone strapped to her

HeadFairy · 01/04/2009 20:35

Ronaldinho.. I don't know which version of Madonna I prefer... though I do like my slebs to be wacky and wierd.

FairLadyOfMuslinCloth · 01/04/2009 20:38

Ronaldinhio...I actually do like Madonna and always have....my post was just in good jist...gist.....jist....oh feck...ykwim....

lol at your eastenders watching madge

allthoseeggsaremine · 01/04/2009 20:39

............how about teenagers? You think she might like a few of those???? One of them able to pay his own way, if Madge gets abit hardup??

Can you imagine her on any vaguely controversial thread? SAHM v WOHM? Dummies v thumbs? Reins or not? CC v attachment parenting?

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 02/04/2009 09:18

Maybe she spends her days eating Greggs sausage rolls and smoking roll-ups?

Grumpyoldcaaaaaaaa · 02/04/2009 16:42

hmm kills thread

2shoestrodonalltheeggs · 02/04/2009 16:47

do you think she would take ds, ok he is 17 so not cute. but at least he would make her look shorter

GentleOtter · 03/04/2009 09:55

Right, I put it to ds1 about getting adopted by Madge/ Angelina/ Gerry and he said it was bad enough having an insane control freak birth mother never mind the famous ones who would make him eat macrobiotic weird religious stuff as well. Then he tapped me for a tenner for putting him through the Very Thought.

Stayingsunnygirl · 03/04/2009 11:05

Absolutely right - you cruel mummy you!

I haven't mentioned the idea to my kids yet, but I do have a magnet on my fridge that says, 'We take our kids everywhere - but they keep finding their way back! - and they still haven't got the message!

FairLadyOfMuslinCloth · 03/04/2009 12:21

lol Gentleotter
