You win, Cissie - the only 'victims' of vomit in our house were DS's:

-bed
-rug
-duvet
-pillow
-bear
-5 assorted other animals
-treasure chest
-keyboard
-drum machine thingy
-2 books
-3 cars
-carpet

YANBU, it was my first mothers day yesterday. My DH made us a lovely pasta dish from scratch and everything to eat when DS went to bed. Eating at 10pm DS woke up screaming, went upstairs and picked him up out of his cot and he projectiled all over me, in my freshly washed hair and everything. Poor little man he was ever so upset and he has a cold and has been very fretful today .

Well, nothing yesterday and then at 2am DD2 decided she wanted to puke all over me, so spent rest of night with her in spare bedroom sleeping fitfully.5
DH went to bed last night at half and is still in bed so its just a matter of time before I get it.

in continuation I spent yesterday in a&e with ds2 and dd has now got an ear infection jut when I thought we were getting somewhere. My utility room looks like a laundry exploded in it and thats with the washing machine being continuously on. Glad its now though and not when Im due next month

shonaspurtle · 24/03/2009 12:47

I spent mothers' day puking away. Sitting on the loo, vomming in the bath...niiiice.

I still feel absolutely foul.

Do you remember when you were little and your mum would run you a bath when you weren't well and she'd change the bedclothes and get you fresh pyjamas for when you got out?

I want someone to change my bedclothes and get me clean pjs [self pity]

Oh shona, I knwo exactly what you mean. When I had tonsilitis I had to cope with DD1 at 5 months old. I was on the floor wrapped in a duvet with tv on and her on playmat next to me so I could drag her over for a feed.
I eventually called my mum and asked her to tell DH over the phone what to do, he ran a bath, bought me yoghurt and oranges (and cut them right) and then washed and tumble dried my comfy PJ's so they were all warm and soft.
It was bliss. never repeated though
