what do you think?

i can't see as it's any different from pushing a pram tbh.

i use the bucket thing at the back for my shopping so i don't need a bag.

it narrower than the pram.

I've done this too. What's the problem. Has someone complained?

JeanPoole · 18/03/2009 13:18

Everyone dies that round here- ignore her, silly cow

PuppyMonkey · 18/03/2009 13:21

Was it an old bat on a mobility scooter?

tvfriend · 18/03/2009 13:22

'does' not 'dies' obviously...

ProfYaffle · 18/03/2009 13:23

I did it ages ago with dd1. I had old gentleman comment on how much fun it looked. Ignore.

JeanPoole · 18/03/2009 13:25

LOL I wondered that a while ago, I took the girls to the local shop, the older one on her scooter which we parked just inside the door and I left the little one on her trike (push handle like yours) and got our bits of shopping and a few funny looks... I did feel a bit 'guilty' as it's a 'toy' and she could have parked it like we did with the scooter and walked around, but it was easier for me to keep her strapped in!! Silly to feel guilty really when it's smaller than her buggy & it has cleaner wheels than her buggy!! but I did....

Depends on how big the shop is! Our local co-op is tiny so if you get more than one person trying to go in with a pram/buggy then the whole shop falls into chaos!

I've taken DS into our massive Tesco on his. Too much of a faff to take him out, lock the trike up, put him in a trolley etc when I'm just getting couple of bits.

I did once see a woman and her son being refused entry into zoo as it didn't allow bike and classed the Smart Trike as a bike. The mum thought this was unfair and was very angry. It's a bit of a grey area I think.
