I was in a major SHIT yesterday.

Completely fucked off with the world, and his bike!

no-one listens to me when I aks theme nicely.

nor do they when I nag them nicely.

then when I shout, they shout back telling me off for it, and even then, don;t actually LISTEN to what I am asking/saying.

and DH was a git sunday night.

and then insulted me more yesterday morning.........

so I decided to send them all to coventry, making them see how much I normally do for them etc

ANYHOOOO...............

I started with writing them letters telling them to wake up, seeing as they never wake when I am noce, and kick off when I shout.

surprisingly they took a long while to wake, and then DD1 rang daddy asking him why I was sending them all letters, he asked to speak to me, which proved hard seeing as I was not talking to them all.

BUT..................

they took note, and last night and this morning has been better (well, last night was great until bedtime, but I was stressed about bloods having to be redone for DD3 so we will excuse that as it was me being moody).

so

was IBU, when, really, it has worked

YANBU

I would try this but mine can't read yet.

Lizzylou · 17/03/2009 10:46

I was just about to post that Humphrey!
Well done on taking a stand

TrillianAstra · 17/03/2009 10:47

Not sure waking up by note would work actually - could you make a loud noise without speaking to them?

Cicatrice · 17/03/2009 10:47

YANBU. You shouldn't have to go on and on.

psychomum5 · 17/03/2009 10:49

trillian, I did poke them and wave the letter about.

but they ignored the poking and lay back down.

then panicked slightly when they realised the time (well, older two did, and they woke the little ones)

they also did not appreciate letters telling them to clean their teeth either......

You spend your life running around after them. They (collectively) need to appreciate that - so anything which works and does no actual harm is NBU, IMHO.

How are you, BTW?

TrillianAstra · 17/03/2009 10:56

I find my mouth feels all yucky if I don't clean my teeth, I don't know why I needed to be nagged to do it when I was a kid. (I assume I didn need to be nagged as all children do)

stealth, I am not too bad right now.

waiting for referral to the eye hospital tho as my eyes are not right it seems and the docs think that is what is causing my issues (the tiredness, headaches etc). they tried looking into my eyes at the docs, and my iris's went to pinprcks and the pain was bad.

I also have low WBC count which could be connected, but also might mean post-viral something (which might explain all the urine infections etc).

I am a conundrum (sp?) apparently, which is a new word for me

Being a conundrum does not sound reassuring, on the whole. I take it 'not too bad' is a relative term, then ?

Look after yourself and tell your tribe that they need to be looking after you....

psychomum5 · 17/03/2009 11:08

well...........not too bad just means that I am not feeling dire, but not feeling 'right' either.

ach, I'll be ok. I normally am. tis just taking a toll on all of us really as I am normally so active and 'out and about', and the last few weeks have seen me want to crawl into bed for the day and stay put pretty much.

but

tis sunny today. makes the world seem brighter somehow
