To Want to Kick Him Where It Hurts?

madameovary · 11/03/2009 08:50

Ex-P left me for another woman in mid jan.
Can own my part in this, due to past issues I was really not feeling the love.
However he is now starting to regret his hasty actions and I am getting texts saying "Miss U" "I want to b with u"

But its nothing to do with wanting a lasting decent relationship with me and our DD, oh no.

He would like to have both of us and cant.

He said "Together you would make the perfect woman" [anger]

and that's not all.

I am still feeding DD who is not quite a year. He said

"You're going to have to stop soon otherwise it'll be bitty"

This man is fifty years old.

What a catch eh?

Yes, indeed. I think you've had a lucky escape- he sounds like a weirdo. Any chance you can completely expunge him from your life and find a good role model for your daughter? She won't remember her father.

YANBU - go on, kick him.

Oh it hit me hard at first but now I have the distance to see that I am SOOO much better without him.
Sadly he has picked a woman who was just as messed up as I was when he met me. She has a history of bad relationships and has completely fallen for his charm. She is spending all her time at his, cooks and cleans for him and even washes his sheets.

I feel sorry for her TBH, but what do you expect if you start a relationship with someone who has a baby?
