Pedestrians really should stay off the bloody roads - what do they think pavements are for eh?

Gorionine · 05/03/2009 14:37

As a pedestrian almost mown down last week by a woman whose car mounted the pavement, facing the wrong traffic way I must say how delighted I am at the opportunity I had to hurl myself sideways to avoid being run over.
I was utterly thrilled that it made me drop my walking stick thus forcing me to get exercise by bending down to pick it up again.
My 5 year old child was equally thrilled at the cow catcher bar nearly hitting her head.

I know that as a disabled pedestrian I should lay down my life for those who can afford a 4x4 as they are our superiors and the likes of us is beholding to the likes of them.
God bless ye and your jacked up 4x4's young masters, I am not worthy to even gaze upon the buffed loveliness of your automobile.

BTW I was being sarcastic...

....although I do walk with a stick, and yes, this did happen to me walking DD to school last week.

DD asked why people had such big cars and I told her it was because they needed all the space to fit their sense of inadequacy in.

There you go peasant, count yourself lucky she didn't reverse as well.

Next time, try to give the bullbars a little shine with your hair as they strike a glancing blow, to show your appreciation.
