It's a lovely old thing - started third attempt today after standing for a few weeks in all that snow. Never falters! I love it

Mine has been running like a dream, bar TWO punctures this week - in fact I only picked up the repaired spare last night

something is obviously Not Right, I almost wonder if someone stalks me around the countryside, waiting for an opportunity to let my tyres down but I suspect it's more likely to be a case of needing to have the wheels re-enamelled?

I need a van type one though, I'm sure I'll only have to spend another £12million to iron out all these little problems and then I can relax and enjoy the ride!

At least I have established, fully and finally, that I am physically incapable of changing my wheels unaided

I would be much more cheerful if this is how I got my punctures

although I still haven't had the bill from last time I managed to break down again today - twice - randomly the (new) alternator stopped charging

I suppose it has been more than 3 days, even if you count Wednesday's puncture?

I did cry though, the second time, when clouds of black smoke belched out and he coughed and died

on plus side finally got round to joining the AA so hopefully those 5 callouts allowed each year will see me through until April and then I can join another rescue service?
