to feel guilty....

My inlaws havin been doing alot for us lately and i feel i'm putting on them too much, what do you think?

Today... collect 2ds from school then onto swimming lessons. (dd ill)

Yesterday...went to watch DS footy with dh.

saturday..DS slept over at there invite.

Friday...Collected ds's from school and fed them.(i was ill)

wednesday... met me at school and took all three to there's for tea then fil took ds to footy training whilst i was working and dh had younger ones.

etc etc

Depends what age they are and what other commitments they have.

Why don't you buy them something nice like a bunch of flowers or tickets to the cinema and a thank you card saying how much you appreciate all their help. Also say to them that if it gets too much for them they can say no and you will find alternatives.

I bet they like being useful to your DH and family, but it certainly won't hurt for you to mention it.

My MIL is always doing loads for us, she always offers and I always let her know how much I appreciate her, flowers, getting kids to make her special pictures and cards.

If they are offering, they are probably enjoying being part of your dcs lives

My MIL cam round at 3 friday morning to help with ds as I was exhausted. She stayed till five then her and sil took ds of my hands for the day I must do something for her when I have some money again. I too feel guilty.
