Nothing controversial, nothing funny, inspiring etc.
All there are is 10 million threds about the snow (we're talking about the weather people!) and how much we all dislike the new mumsnet...

Is it just me? Where are all the weird and wacky threads?

Someone is wondering why their porridge cooks too quickly - I shit you not!

sorrento · 02/02/2009 14:41

I've just ripped y kitchen out and broken a nail (on my finger not part of the kitchen).
AIBU to have expected DH to have done it by now ?

Rhubarb · 02/02/2009 14:42

Ok, now I've just implied that bread bakers should get their dp's to wank into the bread mixture as it makes it crustier and the bread lasts longer!

justneedsomesleep · 02/02/2009 14:45

lmao @ rhubarb!

Good Grief.

A conversation about the lack of decent conversations...

IN the words of cult 70's TV kids' classic Why Don't You:

"Just switch of your television set computer and go and do something less boring instead".

Or is the idea of not being "mumsat" (as opposed to babysat) by the computer too awful to behold?

pollywobbledoodle · 02/02/2009 14:46

Welllll Justneed:

It IS indeed snowing or should I say it WAS snowing overnight where I am, it was still snowing when I rose at 8am then it stopped from approximately 9-10am whereupon it started again. I noticed the size of the flakes increased from a diameter of roughly 1cm to 2 cm until they went back to 1cm. I am stationed by the window ready to spot the first stray flake that comes into view.

Is it snowing where you are perchance?

PS I don't wear knickers

justneedsomesleep · 02/02/2009 14:58

pollywobbledoodle · 02/02/2009 14:59

rhubarb is plumplay before or after dp has made the bread crusty?

pollywobbledoodle · 02/02/2009 15:00

justneed, ok "walking in a winter wonderland"

ConfusedMama · 02/02/2009 15:26

Arf arf, thongs indeed! No, I am still in my PJ's. Well at nearly 9m pg I am allowed.

I remember thongs... and small bras to match and small tights and small tops and small trousers.

Now I have elephant pants and bras.

* Newsflash * - I have just counted the number of cat hairs on my lint roller.

The number is....

....

528!

Yawn.

HecateQueenOfGhosts · 02/02/2009 15:27

That's a bit rude!

Start one your bloody self if the rest of us are failing to live up to your requirements.
