dh is watching him atm. I have told him that MN opinion is divided on Gordon Ramsey. He is underwhelmed.

Monkeytrousers · 30/01/2009 23:22

I agree. He's the primary example of bully/areshole/prick as opposed too stud/alpha/male than is possible. He's a nob of the tallest order. The fact that he remains in denial of this - even when the woman who has given birth to his kids has fled the coop - demonstrates the fundamental truith of this - is enough of most of sane mind.

He however, is still trying to give blow jobs to the gutter press for points.

Rickey G wins the long game I see...

Monkeytrousers · 30/01/2009 23:23

Oh, I'm such a twat

MauriceDancer · 30/01/2009 23:25

has tana flown the coop? did her brief stint on MN liberate her mind?

hated that episode. he's a bully. but then he hates himself because he is gay.

dragonbutter · 30/01/2009 23:29

did/does she mumsnet then, maurice?

SlartyBartFast · 30/01/2009 23:33

tiredsville · 31/01/2009 00:13

He is completely over fucking rated.

happynewmummy · 31/01/2009 04:01

Not keen on the uneccessary swearing - but I find him quite sexy

You know your hitting middle age...when you begin to fancy men like him

piscesmoon · 31/01/2009 09:37

I had to switch it off I couldn't stand the boringness of his language. I would expect him to be intelligent enough to enlarge his vocabulary. I just got the point that I thought that although he might be saying something interesting it gets totally lost in the way that he says it.

mm22bys · 31/01/2009 12:55

I think he's great, once you get past the f'ing this and f'ing that.

They were complete and utter tossers on that show last night (can't believe I actaullly sat through two hours of it!) and I do believe he's got their best interests at heart....

Much prefer him to any other celeb chef out there!

mm22bys · 31/01/2009 12:58

Oh and isn't it RamsAy?

At least f'n get his f'n name f'n right!

DDraigoch33 · 31/01/2009 13:04

I much prefer Marco Pierre White.

rolereversal · 31/01/2009 13:07

like the programme but hate the swearing. lol dragonbutter but you really need to get out more

Fairynufff · 31/01/2009 13:08

I wouldn't mind the rage and the swearing if it was about something life and death but I keep shouting at the telly "IT'S ONLY COOKING FFS"

rolereversal · 31/01/2009 13:09

yea, theres something quite threatening about marco pierre white, in a good way, iyswim

DDraigoch33 · 31/01/2009 13:12

He can threaten me anytime

dragonbutter · 31/01/2009 13:13

think i'll keep my gordon ramsay fantasies to myself from now on.

LostVagueness · 01/02/2009 18:56

Swearing is the new black.

pointydog · 01/02/2009 19:01

agree with monkey. He's a bullying foul-mouthed nob.

S1ur · 01/02/2009 19:06

I am slightly disturbed by his face.

But not swearing, I embrace swearing.

piscesmoon · 01/02/2009 19:10

The swearing is just boring beyond belief.

CrushWithEyeliner · 01/02/2009 19:14

Don't like him.
The swearing is not real anymore and therefore has become v v annoying. I don't like the aggression - but remember this is a persona that has made him millions - he has to keep it up,

I am all about Marco PW, he dosen't have to swear gorgeous creature that he is....
