Netmums?!

I don't think I can cope with that on my page...

It doesn't tell them, but they may well notice, unless they are the sort with 500 plus friends that add friends of friends they've never even met.

I was banned because i took exception to someone siging in anonymously and writing on several of the forums that i went on that i was a 'predatory female that groomed unsuspecting netmums for sex' and that i had no morals and was [robably riddled with carious STI's. The mods removed the posts but not until i asked them to - they had been there all day - and although they knew who had posted them, they refused to either name them or reprimand them. At the time i was told that the person that posted it was a friend of mine - which really did my head in, and had me second guessing every [erson i knew. The mods also said that the anon poster had apologised... and that may have been so... but anon did not apologise to me or post an apology on the boards.

I'm the kind of person that is quite up front, and if i've got something to say about someone then i will say it to their face, and i stupidly expected the same behaviour off others.

The reason i was attacked this way? Because i admitted that i was bisexual and had had a relationship with a woman with the consent of my husband.

Anyways, i posted my displeasure at being labelled so, and my annoyance at the lack of moderatiors actions and i was banned. Because you aren't allowed to question mods.

A few months later, i found out who it was, and it turned out to be someone i considered a close friend.

Lesson learnt.

I deleted one bloke (dp begged me not to) who wrote the most self pitying status bars ever

" Brett had to walk in the rain for 10 mins and now has a sniffle"

"Brett has hurt his arm"

Noone instantly replied

"Well brett knows who his friends are thanks guys"

Then he would write blogs so full of crap
"The day we lost bee" I thought he meant an Aunt or sister the way he wrote it no it was his dog who was round at the neighbours all along .

He was a loon he did hospital radio ,I once listened to a sample show and I swear he would have had me pushing my pain top up button if I had to sit and listen to him drivel on for hours on end .

DP still ahs him on his friends his latest status says
"Brett is moving to Australia "

He decided this yesterday .

Of course loads of his friends have commented "Noooooo"
"We will miss you"

Which is just what he wanted [sigh].

BTW I like netmums cookery page but I have never been on the forums.

I was sacked because apparently I was 'unsupportive ' - although how searching for photographers, dressmakers, going to every wedding dress shop in London (or so it seemed) organising her hen night, even though she told everyone different dates and kept changing her mind what to do, meeting up with her mum, taking her for coffee to plan nice secret things, offering to get my dress adjusted without her as she was 'so busy' and go and pick up my shoes round the corner from her office myself, because she was 'too busy', offers to make dinner for her at mine when her fiance was at his stag weekend (deep breath)..... I could go on.... is considered UNSUPORTIVE.... I don't know WHAT.

Not that I'm bitter or anything.....

Sheesh. Think I'm off to delete her NOW!

Netmums is great for the local stuff, like pool and kids event listings. But I don't foray very often on the boards anymore as everyone seems to be a bit antagonistic there.
