To feel this hungover after 1 bottle of wine :-(

I have been sick this morning and feel like death, I don't normally drink on a school night but just fancied a glass of vino and putting my feet up.

Anyway, I drank the whole bottle and drank 2 big glasses of diluting juice before I went to bed a bit tipsy.

I feel absolutely dreadful, is a bottle of wine really that much!!

Am now thinking of going teetotal, is it because im getting older aaahhh!

wouldn't feel rough the next day after a bottle, unless its the 4 days before period. Then feel terrible after just a glass.

Damn mumeeee I was quite excited at the prospect of 2 glasses being 0 units then

Think a whole bottle of wine is between 8 - 9 units. The recommended level for women is about 2, I think....

Also depends on whether you drank it spread over an evening with food, or quickly.

average wine bottle = 750mls
large glass = 250mls (3 units per glass as mentioned above)

So a whole bottle of 9 units is 64% of your weekly allowance of 14 units.

I can easily drink a bottle of wine to myself.

Sometimes I get a hangover, sometimes not. Depends on the time of the month and on the type of wine. Had a bottle of wine last weekend with no after effects but credit that to the fact that I've given up smoking. The hangovers are much milder without smoking.

I had a job interview yesterday. Yes, report back on the hangover and if you do or don't get the job. I'm still waiting to hear.

White whine always a killer. For me red/cider/lager much easier the next day (although not all in the same night!).
