dh has started setting his alarm fro 6.30am so he can hit snooze until 7.15am when he has to get up. I get up around 7.15am as thats plenty of time for me to get the trio ready for school run etc. I am feeling more and more resentful to dh for setting his alarm[that I bought him for xmas as it is a ipod dock] even though he doesnt have to get up until 45mins after it goes off.

To the OP, could you try getting up at 6:30 when his alarm goes off. Be very loud, turn all the bedroom lights on and make sure he's properly woken up. Maybe after a day or two of this, he'll change the alarm to 7:15.

I used to share a flat with a bloke who could sleep through anything. He used to set 2 alarms to get him up for church on Sundays, a radio turned up really loud and another clock which sounded like a truck reversing. My other flatmate and I got sick of pounding on his bedroom room at 7am every Sunday while he carried on snoring, so we used to turn the power off at the mains. He used to get sooo pissed off at us for making him miss church. Eventually he started going to evening services .
