I run the school yahoo group, small school so small group.
one of the parents has just put a message on it about her boys 18th, named 2 parents and asked them to keep the date free for the party.
couldn't she just email them?
why advertise a party that you are not inviting everyone to?

Yes that is rude!

TheInnocentBystander · 12/01/2009 18:06

Yes how rude. (Unless she is marking them out as "helpers" for the party and thats why THEY have got to be free as well as their offspring.

If thats the case, mark it in your diary as a 'close shave'

Very rude!

It is rude but maybe she does not realise its a public forum, some people don't really understand ??? That is unlikely though as she named though.

Its very poor etiquette.

invite all the rest to her party, doctor your email to say she invited everyone lol

saint2shoes · 12/01/2009 18:55

she knows we will all read it. I don't expect dd to be invited, but seemed a bit off to me.
