to get a bit miffed that all the best kicking off's and flouncings happen on threads that when i first read them were boring so didn't bother going back?

i ALWAYS miss out when it kicks off!! I hate that! I think burlesque is great by the way - am quite encouraged its for old duffers actually - i might feel more confident about getting me burgers out and sticking on some tassels - woohooo

My mumsnet habit recently has been to 'hide' many threads that don't seem interesting/relevant to me. I end up missing most of the 'kick-off' threads, and then wonder what people are referring to!
