Macdog · 09/01/2009 20:20

I remember Smiths(?) bringing out hedgehog flavour crisps back in the days of yore

LucyEllensmummy · 09/01/2009 20:20

hey rev - perhaps you could write in for their new flavour competition - be a bit salty for my tastes though!! honestly, and you a woman of the cloth and all that!!

Kettlechip, when have you ever tried crisps that actually taste like what they purport to be?

Macdog · 09/01/2009 20:22

Walkers site with new flavours

advocateofthedevil · 09/01/2009 20:23

Walkers roast chicken crisps contain no chicken whatsoever.

nickytwotimes · 09/01/2009 20:25

No different to any other beastie flavouring.

Btw, I am veggie, btu LOVE bacon crisps (they are almost always veggie friendly)

lucyellensmummy -that's what I mean, I never think crisps taste like they should so now I'm wondering whether as a veggie I can eat squirrel crisps because a) they've had no input from a squirrel and b) taste like something else I might like..

Will get DH on the case this weekend. He will eat anything.

pigletpants · 09/01/2009 20:28

Hmm, I'm curious. Might have to try them.

GrimmaTheNome · 09/01/2009 20:29

Salt and vinegar do quite often taste of salt and vinegar, to be fair.

kettlechip · 09/01/2009 20:29

onion bhaji sound nice. Chili and chocolate though?? Has Heston Blumenthal had a hand in these?

kettlechip · 09/01/2009 20:31

grimma, salt and vinegar are my crisp of choice as they are what they say. But cheese and onion? Bleurgh.

ladymariner · 09/01/2009 20:43

Hey rev, do you swallow your particular flavour or just spit them out!!!!!!!!

dsrplus8 · 09/01/2009 20:54

ladymariner yet again the tone of the thread is lowered......way beyond gutter level! wonder if thats where walkers found the roadkill squirrels.

thingamajig · 09/01/2009 20:57

I was served squirrel at a dinner party once. Which would have been OK has our host not made us play 'Guess what you're eating'.
Which would again have been OK if she hadn't said "Close" when I guessed rat.

ladymariner · 09/01/2009 20:59

lol, dr

Thunderduck · 09/01/2009 21:01
