to take down my Christmas tree?

It's driving me nuts.

Reasons to take it down:

Our house is tiny and it is taking up space that I need for other stuff.

DS, who is one, keeps pulling the decorations off and trying to eat them.

Due to DS's Christmas decoration appitite we have had to barricade the tree in with DH's guitar equiptment which is taking up even more room in our stupidly small living room.

I know I am the one who will have to pack away all the decorations and I just want to get the job out of the way.

Reason's not to take it down:

It's too early.
It's kind of mean.
DH is from another culture and has not had his Christmas day yet. Although he has said he doesn't care what I do with the tree.

I took mine down yesterday. I had time then and will be short of time in the next week or so.

I shall be taking ours down tomorrow. Would've done it yesterday were not ds and his gf coming over this afternoon. I think he would have complained if the house didn't look Christmasy.
I remember when we lived in the US for a while, being surprised to see all the Christmas trees dragged out for the bin-men on 26th Dec; but you know, when it's over it's over. Go for it!

Its not over - we still have half a Christmas cake left to eat.
Will inform you all when we have consumed it so that you can then take your trees down

I get two weeks off work at Christmas, so I always take mine down on the last day of the hols in a bah humbug moment (usually around the 3rd/4th Jan) I always feel sad when it's gone though, my house always looks a bit bare.

It's down - hurah!

Took mine down on 27th much to my mums disgust. Didn't put it up until about a week before Christmas either.
