I think I am an addict.

DP and I are off tomorrow on our long-awaited post-PhD jaunt to New Zealand, and for some reason I keep thinking about the fact that I could be off MN for a whole month, and when I come back no-one will remember me and all sorts of things could happen while I was away.

So AIBU to think that if we stop in an internet cafe I could perhaps just pop in and check that there haven't been any big upheavals? Or would that just be ridiculous? I think maybe it would be ridiculous.

Lighten up scottishmummy, I think the tongue in cheek approach/ responses to the post may well have been lost on you. Maybe pop on to something a bit more high brow next time and leave the frivolous to others, you're sounding a bit dull.

We have wifi, DP is asleep (sensibly), I am awake because of jetlag. Alright?

wouldnt take lappy on holiday, but if i so happened to have internet access in hotel/internet cafe then ........
