DH took our son shopping to spend his christmas money today and he came back with "Family Guy" DVD boxset which cost him £20.

He's only 8, has seen 'non-rude' parts on youtube and loves it, he's so pleased with it but I know he really shouldn't be allowed to watch it.

But he's spent £20 of his own money on it I've not seen it, is it really bad?

It's brilliant! Love it.

8yr old - probably not. I'm not convinced he would really enjoy it that much as his age. My 11yr old is just beginning to be able to appreciate that sort of adult humour and even now we keep an eye. Don't take it back unless, after you've explained to him, he wants to do so. Keep it for a few years.
