I heard about it from a mutual mate and am really hacked off that they haven't had the decency to invite us this year.

Leave it be
have some pride in yourself

TheWizardofOz · 22/12/2008 20:27

REALLY?
Shall I pretend I don't know about it?

Don't go round! Thats a terrible idea.

Doublebluff is right. Have some dignity.

noonki · 22/12/2008 20:34

YABU - I don't invite all my friends to every party I have,

just leave them to it.

ChristmasFairySantAsSLut · 22/12/2008 20:36

hmm...so what...really....also, if you actually are so paranoid to think she excludes you when she goes out with colleagues...tbh, maybe you are getting a bit much for her....why would you expect being invited when she goes out with people from work? I don't get it....

Anyway....yabu

IPityTheFool · 22/12/2008 20:36

No no no no no.

They are bang out of order. Show up looking a million dollars with a big smile and pretend you were invited all along. They SHOULD have invited you - you're friends, they've been to your place, you have mutual friends even! You deserve to be there!

Clearly they're flaunting their party in your face.

ChristmasFairySantAsSLut · 22/12/2008 20:37

Wizard...you really come axross as a bit odd and desperate....

ChristmasFairySantAsSLut · 22/12/2008 20:40

This is a wind up...right?

TheWizardofOz · 22/12/2008 20:41

Oh God! Sorry! I am sitting here KNOWING THat everyone is having a great time and I am not, if that makes me desperate then so be it.

OP posts:
ChristmasFairySantAsSLut · 22/12/2008 20:45

really....................... , you sure you are not winding us up here...

fuzzywuzzy · 22/12/2008 20:47

only if it's going to be really noisy and rowdy and you won't be able to sleep thro it!

dramaqueen · 22/12/2008 20:48

FFS of course this is a wind up - but made me laugh

ChristmasFairySantAsSLut · 22/12/2008 20:51

drama are you the wizard then....or am I losing me marbles now....[gosh, this stuff is good....]

IPityTheFool · 22/12/2008 20:55

dramaqueen if it's you doing a wind up it's not very funny.

DoubleBluff · 22/12/2008 20:58

please dont tell me this is another moldy wind up?

ItsMyPartyILLInviteWhoIWant2 · 22/12/2008 21:03

I'm having a party on Christmas Eve and I haven't invited all my neighbours. There is one that I am friendly with but last time we went over there her DH got a bit pissed and admitted to shagging a toilet brush.

If this is your DH then that will explain why you haven't been invited.

If not then I don't know you in which case a chat with her might be a good idea.

Happy Christmas ...must dash as we are trying out the music tonight!

dramaqueen · 22/12/2008 21:14

No I am not doing a wind up, but I think this is one. If it's not, then I apologise.

ChristmasFairySantAsSLut · 22/12/2008 21:23

oh right....well...I am also hoping it's a wind up, tbh....as otherwise that person would just be a rather sad individual, really

AliceTheCamelHasGotTheHump · 23/12/2008 05:14

I KNEW this was a Mouldy thread and then I decided that my brain had been addled by spending the last 4 days of my life reading all the Mouldy threads, and it was time I turned off the computer and went to bed.

ChristmasFairySantAsSLut · 23/12/2008 11:08

pssssst...I think I have a rough idea what people mean by mouldy threads...but can someone clarify it for me, anyway?

frankie3 · 23/12/2008 11:22

I don't even have a rough idea what mouldy is!
