To send DD to live in a convent?

I have just found a ton of little love notes and drawings saying 'Ben is cute' 'Brandon is cute' 'I love you Luke' etc in DD's book bag.
She has just turned 8.
AIBU to lock her up til she is about 40?

Put the notes in Ben, Brandon and Luke's bookbags. She won't see them for dust.

Ds (then 8) was on the receiving end of this last Christmas, when a forward little minx in his class sent him a pretty graphic love letter enclosed in a Christmas card. He was APPALLED. The teacher had to be informed (ds was hysterical and refusing to go to school ), and the teacher had A Word with said little minx, and with her mum. She has steered well clear ever since.

Love hearts with ds's and minx's names entwined underneath. Pictures of lips, with arrows and signs saying "Kiss here".

I only saw bits of it, ds had ripped it up into tiny shreds in his horror. I tried to jolly him out of it, along the lines of, 'well you're a good-looking boy with a sweet nature, why wouldn't she like you?' but he wasn't having any of it: "I don't want her to kiss me, I just want her to leave me alone".

Methinks in a few years time he'll not be slow to see the advantages of being a bit of a babe-magnet, but at the moment the couple of girls who I know have got crushes on him are keeping it quiet. Arf.

My husband think that with a little DIY he can convert our single storey bay window into a machine gun nest. Would this work for you?

DD's had no hearts or lips on thank goodness.
It had pictures of the boys, not very flattering pictures either. I'm assuming one boy is ginger because she gave the poor child an orange head.

Bocca, I'm toying with the idea, that and girlandboy's well.

The well is only about 18 feet deep. It depends on how good she is at climbing!

When i was in yr 4 at school i terorised a boy in year 3 for a whole year i had a complete diary with me practicing my signiture with his last name and 'T is cute' 'T is gorgeous' written on ever page.

He was so terrified! He still goes beetroot red if he sees me to this day and he's a grown man now. lol.
