to be slightly threatened by "lady" on train platform being so agressive at 6.30am?

Get early train from very cold sticks where I live to central london. Platform is always busy but I tend to be there a bit early so wait in same place on platform every day.

This "lady" seems to have taken a random dislike to me. She decided that I am in her way when she walks up platform to the far end where she waits. Recently she's been tutting and shaking her head as she passes, making big deal out of walking around me!
Seems to expect me to move out of her way when I see her coming- which Im not going to do for anyone or I'd be second guessing everyone as they walk up platform!

Yesterday she actually pushed into me as she passed me on on another wise vacant platform. No idea why... Im 6months pregnant with bad back and SPD and could easily fall with a light push and in this case, it could be straight onto the train tracks.

Today she just looked right at me and rolled eyes...

Is she a mad-woman or AIBU to feel threatened by her unecessary and weirdly agressive so early in morning

why not catch her eye when she rolls hers at you, and say firmly with a pleasant smile, "Good Morning."

She will probably slide past you unobrusively with her eyes glued to the ground after that, and you will have the moral high ground anyway!

Good idea Nighbynight.

Definately should aim to be better person here!

She sounds like a loon!

basementbear · 11/12/2008 10:37

She is clearly bonkers, I would just keep out of her way. Not worth the aggravation. But if she does catch your eye, I agree with Nighbynight, just smile sweetly.

we'll all come en masse and catch your train with you next week and give her the MN masse evils God, that'd be GREAT, wouldn't it?

devoutsceptic · 11/12/2008 11:10

I would talk to station supervisor, and say she pushed you and you are scared. It's dangerous and threatening behaviour. She does sound really, scarily mad, and if I were you, I'd sit on a bench at the back of the platform, and generally keep out of her way. Mind you I have a bit of a phobia about being pushed onto railway lines!

Miggsie · 11/12/2008 11:32

Try to arrive after she does?
She sounds a tad odd.
Or get a newspaper and hold it in front of your face?

Jenbot · 11/12/2008 13:06

Maybe you accidentally trod on her foot one day without realising, or something??

loobeylou · 11/12/2008 13:13

It sounds like she doesn't approve of working pg mums? and/or has been having failed IVF /lots of MCs, a history of somesort?

Maybe its your hairdo or clothes she doesn't like. try to ignore her, keep well away, she sounds mad
