I know I am, we need them, thank god they've finally come. But does it all have to be so noisy? It looks like all my quiet days before Xmas are now blown - I'm probably going to go shopping in town today, to get some piece and quiet ...

Well, they're still working on house #1. Still starting really late, ending really late.

I did go shopping a tiny bit on Wednesday, with DS2. He went into school on Thursday, and got sent home again.

And now I have his sodding cold, very chesty and dreadful, spent a lot of time last night trying to sleep with my head under the covers because I was soooo cold.

I have a completely insane schedule in the next week and just don't have time to be ill, but there ya go.

Oh, and apparently there will be heating today. It doesn't really matter to me, I mean, it'll be nice, but we have heating on the other side, and I'm so terribly cold with this bug, I doubt it'll make much difference.

There was heating, as of Friday.

They're still here now, doing plastering. I think they're tidying up after themselves now, but it's getting silly!

They have to do the same job, more or less, twice over. Good thing we're happy for them to have just done it once before Xmas ...
