There is a stollen staring at me

I wouldn't dream of starting the cake, the mince pies, the christmas chocs but I want a bit of stollen

Does everyone else hold back til Christmas Eve then ?

Been polishing off mince pies in our house for weeks. Zero willpower.

Nemostwonderfultimeoftheyear · 08/12/2008 21:02

Ohforfoxsake · 08/12/2008 21:04

Christmas chocs are opened this weekend when we decorate the tree faa-la-la-la-laaaa-la-la-la-laaa

Have some willpower!

Only on here to distract me from the litre of Baileys in the cupboard

Well we had friends for Sunday lunch and DH dispatched DS(7) upstairs to "liberate" the After Eight when we were having coffee.

I asked DS to put them back after the guests left.

Rather suspect DS is now going to chip away at them, until he is reduced to rearranging the empty packets in the box.

I shall let him, and momentarily watch him squirm on Christmas Day.

I lurve stollen.

DH and myself had a piece of christmas cake last night. (My mother won't be pleased as she made it and wanted us to save it ), but tbh when we have saved it till xmas day, we are normally so full of everything else, we don't want it.

The stollen went in November.
I opened my creme caramel Baileys a couple of days ago.

Still got a box of After Eights though - yum!!

mumeeee · 08/12/2008 22:40

I haven't even bought the Christmas food yet.

MrsSeanBean · 08/12/2008 22:56

This is all making me very hungry. You are all being very bad. And I had been so good not opening my discounted bumper size bottle of Sainsbury's own brand Baileys so far.............

I've been buying Christmas treats for months now - all the half priced chocs and biccies ect, I eat most of it (diet going sooo well..) and have to buy more to replace it.
