Am just thinking now that fun guy reminds me of that joke about mushrooms. God couple that with the peanuts and I could be making entirely the wrong impression!

You do seem a bit buffet orientated. People could think that a shih-tzu was a type of mushroom too.

Buffet or Buffy? Am I missing the joke? There are quite a lot of food references going on.

I would mention your a dog lover if you are one OMAMD, but I'd be less specific about playing with your shih-tzu - men might imagine it's some strange sexual practice they aren't aware of, or code for something!

The way I think about this is when you are doing personal ads or internet dating or whatever, is you are just looking for ONE person who likes you and you like him. Its not a popularity contest.

So of the people who read it that time there wasn't anyone who fitted what you want? So what? Try again another time or on another medium and there might be.

Don't change your ad or yourself.... they will only find the 'real' you later. If they don't want you then they are no good for you, are they?

Have a bit of faith. I know I have my own equally strange fascinations and obsessions. I have 4 cats for example - most men run a mile. And good riddance. If they don't like the fact that I'm a mad old cat lady in the making, then see ya! I want a man who loves that about me.
