And recommended that my contraceptive pill should be one that would help my skin.

I have three small red bumps on my chin. Very small. No crusty bits. No gooey stuff. Just three small red bumps.

And some freckles.

And then he told me my age was against me.

Well, would you go home feeling just a tad minging?

The BEST thing for skin is coal face soap from lush. Expensive, but lasts for ages. I find it really helps my skin, everything else causes irrtation to me, but that stuff is lush.

Can't be as bad as my doctor.
I went to my doctor for a medical for DVLA. He did the normal blood pressure etc then ask me to strip to bra and pants. I was gobsmacked!!!( very shy) .
Said i couldn't because i had bad pants on!!
He said not to worry he was a doctor and had seen it all.Asked how had i had 3 children??
After, i looked at medical form and he had written "Medical all clear execpt self confessed bad pants".
He was a family freind!!.

I think I win the prize for the rudest doctor-at my postnatal check (I'd had quite a big tear during labour) he said "well that's healed up great, but perhaps with an unfortunate cosmetic result..."

My poor fanjo has had "self-esteem ishoos" ever since

emma1977 · 24/11/2008 20:43

I think patients who comment on MY spots are rude.

nooka · 24/11/2008 20:46

Nah, doctors are trained to see such things.
