there's a programme on ITV now about it being 25 years since the first Now Thats What I Call Music... album - they have acts on it like Howard Jones etc. Apart from it being an extended advert I was singing along with the songs (Heaven 17 ) and suddenly realised that listening to this stuff now is like people listening to Buddy Holly or the like when I was a child - OMG

Just posted on another thread. It was the year I got married. Needless to say I haven't celebrated my 25th wedding anniversary. I was 22!

His grandmother used to knit his jumpers for him. He worked in a cling film factory too. Regular reader of Smash Hits, moi????

Now Adam Ant - he's a different kettle of fish. I saw him a few months ago doing an acoustic set - absolutely amazing. Tony Hadley just came on, couldnt STAND Spandau then.

...and he came from High Wycombe ... have been sitting here racking my brains for that factoid. Hemel Hemptead? Nuneaton? NO, High Wycombe!!!!! I didn't even really like HJ then but I did like his hair and his jumpers. Maybe he's the reason I knit now...

God, why cant I remember my keys but I know all the words to Love Cats? Off to bed now as I need my sleep these days

I loved Lamalh. A friend of mine bought me tickets to see Justin Timberlake last year (we were sat at the back, but had a really good view cos everyone else was about 8 and really small). He had a supporting act and I heard 'Lamahl'. I was really excited and looking forward to 'Never ending story', even said to my sister 'Oh brilliant, haven't seen him about for ages'

Obviously what they really said was Lemar. I was so disappointed...
