so i've got a dodgey arse, back, neck and ears and seems my health is preventing anyone giving me a job.

my arse got wrecked after giving birth 4 th degree tear followed by anal sphingter repair operation.
its lumps bumpy scared and hurts
i get urge incontinence and bad pain
and if i ever get constipation or diahorrea you better forget it.
apparently nothing can really be done about my arse fanjo except risk further surgery which could make the problems worse.

also i have back and neck pain from whiplash from being in the middle of a 3 car pile up motorway crash.
i was in a taxi not driving btw

and i also had small ear canals and frequent ear infecctions.

Jimjams just started a blog on miney making from home... could someone find the link?

Here we go...may be of use?

I do sympathise- my sister has terrible health problems and is very frustrated by the lack of opportunities open to people who are desperate to work, but need accommodating in some way, due to their illnesses. She doesn't even have the complication of childcare arrangements...

Sorry, you're having trouble. I had a 4th degree tear and an operation and thankfully everything still works, although i do have to get to the loo pretty quick.
That was almost 4yrs ago and since then i've still been doing pelvic floor exercises, but i do get pains in my back (think some womb lining got stuck in body cavity), but i'm still happy with what the surgeon did.
You are going to need some kind of job in the warm and near loos.
Are you after ANY kind of job? Or a specific thing?
All i can suggest is to apply to all the jobs other people don't seem to like.
Such as carers for the elderly, cleaning and call center work.
If you are doing home based work, have you thought about offering to do ironing or even brass polishing.
I do some polishing every 5 weeks and get £50 for 6hours work.
If you have a list of clients and maybe take a box along to their house and they deposit what they want polishing and you give them a receipt for them, take them home and polish then bring back.
Someone could make a few bob from that.
I don't have the elbow grease to do it everyday! But there is a market out there.

If its any consolation it took Dh six months to find work after losing his job for hrealth related reasons but after 200 interviews someone did take him on- a very big international comany. he has beent here 5 years and has to have regular time off still but becuase he is very good at what he does and literally can do the work of two men, they are lenient and they rub along (or have done so far)
