What would happen if you were both in bed? Do you choose to leave her crying if it is on and off? Is your dp the "type" to think it is your job to go and comfort her?

Is your dp in a deep sleep or perhaps enjoyed a drink or two earlier and that means he isn't hearing the crying?

He been on a course all day so really tired and prob won't hear her!
If i was there i would be up and down resettling which i am still listening downstairs and will do if needs be!

Our lo is often a bit restless around 10-11pm. Often when we go to her she is just stirring loudly rather than needing settling.

How old is lo? She'll only learn how to settle herself if she's given the chance

She is 10mth i am listening on the monitor so will go up if she needs me too!
Just wondering if i am being unreasonable to be here on mnet ?

I don't think so, like you say if she gets upset and needs you, you'll go. I think it's a good thing to leave her so she learns how to settle herself
