its disgusting! av got a neighbour who lets her dog sh*t over everything, street and our shared garden, cant let kids out to play.so i
complained to the council ,who in turn issued her with warnings of eviction(not the only thing shes done)and supplied her with doggy bags.in return the "family from hell" used the doggy bags, to throw dog shit at my windows.{we are in the upstairs flat,in a 4 in a block, shes down stairs}its just ignorance. have had dogs myself and its no effort to clean up after them, its common deciency

Geepers · 10/11/2008 11:51

I throw shoes away rather than clean dog shit off them. Unless they are brand new there is no way I am scrubbing animal shit off anything.

Dog shit ruins nearly every single dog walk my family go on because I am always screaming at my children to stay in the middle of the path and keep their eyes open for piles of poo.

I always have a pocket full of bags for my dog's poo, I just wish I had the nerve to offer them around to the many, many dog owners I see every day leaving their dogs shite laying around for my children to step in.

dog shit on wheelchairs means not taking the chair in the house which means the disabled person stays outside.

I used to have this problem a lot when mine where in buggies. A friend of mine gave me a good tip for cleaning buggy wheels. Use boiling water straight out of kettle. It's a bit grim but does work.

I KNOW!!!!

YANBU.

I am sick of having dog and cat crap in the street outside my house. Problem is once one animal goes then all the others feel the need to join in at the same spot.

I rolled my buggy through it the other do and actually got red mist type anger I was so pissed off.

My neighbours (who I like very much) have a dog that is allowed to run around the village on its own. Don't reckon they have ever picked a poo up in the whole time they've lived here. Makes my blood boil.

I'm liking the circle with chalk idea. Might shame some of the pet owners into doing something.

I am willing to be the mad chalk lady!

YANBU. DD got a new trike for her 2nd birthday. It's one of those with a parent handle so i wheeled her down to the local shop, she was all excited. The pavements were quite leafy and i managed to wheel her through a big pile of dogs mess

It makes me so angry, especially when it gets on pushchairs and kids bikes. I think they should enforce the law and start fining people for their irrisponsible behaviour.
