lift the plate up and scrape every last little molecule of food into their mouths?

If you are starving I've no issue with it, but you eat reguarly so please stop it!

NorbertDentressangle · 04/11/2008 20:12

FIL scrapes (..and scrapes...and scrapes...aaarrrghh!) his plate for every last morsel. It drives me insane.

He also moves his food around his plate loads during the meal

SuperBunny-love the pilgrim story.hes not american (why do americans not use knifes?or are you teasing?)hes just got no manners.

STAB STAB STAB - here, have my fork!!!! I cannot abide poor table manners, im not fussy or particular, but other people do not want to see your food in your mouth, or even worse HEAR it being mushed up, it makes me want to vomit. I once had to endure a bus journey sitting next to someone eating chewing gum so loudly, by the time i got off the bus i was almost certifiable

they would be dead phono, its as simple as that!

onthepier · 04/11/2008 21:13

I know what you mean Phono, about the red pepper! I used to sit opposite somebody at work who was dieting, + for her "elevenses" every morning without fail, she would produce a huge celery stick and devour it, "CRUNCH CRUNCH CRUNCH!" The rest of us were to polite to say anything, but in an office environment that it extremely irritating!!

LittleWhizzingBella · 04/11/2008 21:17

LOL at pepper rage.

My friend's dad used to have a plate of chillies and snack at them while watching TV/ walking past.

ScottishMummy · 04/11/2008 21:21

YANBU

...and what about sucking hot beverages through chocolate covered biscuit bars?

...a truly vile (if prodigious) habit.....

falcon · 04/11/2008 21:31

I do that, though only when alone. It's worth the potential mess.

i do like dunking biscuits.all about timing.quick in/oot nae lingering or it falls in

exasperatedmummy · 05/11/2008 11:12

There is a very fine line with biscuit dunking, a quick in and out is not enough to soak up the tea, but leaving it too long,,,,,,,,,it takes years of practice to perfect
