I know, I know shouldn't watch it blardy blah, don't normally but sat down with my sandwich flicked through the channels. They were having a debate about single mothers, not fathers, single mothers with lots of children on benefits and how they should work. Not one of them made an educated or valid comment they all just sat there making stereotypical daily mail type shit, ie its easy to get a job when your child goes to school (school holidays anyone?). What angers me is that presumably their lives are very different to the average single mum's on benefit, how dare they sit and slate them without even beginning to empathise.
I am a newly single mum, after 10 years and four children we have decided to call it a day. Sadly the fact that other people might view me like this really does bother me. Currently I work and hope to continue to do so, but potentially if juggling it all childcare etc becomes too difficult i may have to have a break for a while, and whilst i will do everything in my power to prevent this from happening, i simply don't know how much support i'm going to get from my p untl it happens. So yes its emotive for me but grr at these women and grrrr at all the delighted farkin clapping.

It's the stupid woman on the malteser advert that pisses me off. New ways to be naughty? Err no just irritating.
