not sure if I am being mean or sensible here.

She is 12, yr8, and utterly forgetful and flakey.

and she is always forgetting her lunch box, and I therefore am always taking it into school for her.

I swear each time that this is the last, and then go back on my word as I feel bad for her and worry that she will be hungry and therefore not able to concentrate.

today tho, I did not even think to check, she said she had it, all the three smaller ones got their lunch boxes out themselves, and I have had no reason to go into the fridge since getting back from the school run, until a few mins ago to make myself some lunch.....and so I have found it.

and am sat here feeling guilty as I am not running out to take it to her this time as lunch time will be about over by the time I get there!

make me feel better.......or tell me off for being a wicked mother for allowing her to waste away to a skelington!

DD2 regularly has just brown bread for lunch at the school threatening you cargirl. i may put in an apple but she never eats it.
DD1 also blames her dyslexia for her dippyness.

oh she just got better...............

DD1's best friends mum was collecting the girls today from school along with her DD, and DD2 did not come out....

cue much panicking and heat-attacks feelings.....

she went home with her friend....seems that said friend rang last night and asked if DD2 could come round and I apparently agreed t it. Not sure when, altho maybe while MIL and PIL were here and I was distracted, which seems to be the childrens fave time for asking me things.

damn child!!!

Oh, and she borrowed money off another friend for her lunch.

I give up, I really do!

I forgot my lunch once and my dad stopped the bus I was on with his motorbike and boarded it complete with motorcycle helmet on. He didn't see me - due to the hat and went upstairs and dumped my lunch box with one of the cool guys in my year!!! I don't think I forgot it again!!!
