I would like to stress that they do not leak, and rubbish as many probably think they are, they never give him nappy rash. I wouldn't buy them if they did.

So with that in mind, is it unreasonable or unnecessarily stingey to only pay £1.48 for 20 nappies? I got a look when I told someone how good they are today which made me think she expected to see me rifling through bins outside supermarkets any day now.

YANBU I used these nappies for my ds and I defo agree, there isn't a damn thing wrong with them.
Its just pure snobbery to presume anything else when you have snobbery after you had said it was a decent nappy

I think I have tried them before, no actually it was wilkos ones which were equally cheap. They were really plastically, I didn't like them. But I never buy Huggies or Pampers, firstly I find pampers really smell horrible when they are wet, and I just can't afford it. Usually sainsbos own, just coz it's our nearest supermarket.

But I wouldn't not try anything based on price. If I liked them I would defo buy them, and I certainly would never judge anyone who did. Not stingy at all, specially if you've had no problems.

Well if they don't that's brilliant, it's literally catching piss and pooh why pay more for that.

Bloodystumperlicious · 25/10/2008 19:44

Actually georgie, I remember that's what swayed me when I looked at the tesco's value nappies, there was very little between them and the next 'brand' up so I went for those.

bumper....tesco or Lidl own brand are cheaper and better than sainsbos imo

and I forgot to answer the OP...not unreasonable and definately not unnecessarily stingy.
