I've just got a text from a work collegue asking if I was drinking a glass of wine. I'm 31 weeks BTW.

She said she saw me in the kitchen drinking from a wine glass. I live in a first floor flat(until Saturday) so she must have actually tried to look in the window.

Yes I was enjoying a nice cold glass of Alcohol Free chardonnay(sp) and it was very nice.

This has really annoyed me. I'd never look into someone's window let alone text them and tell them I looked into their window.

AIBU or hormonal maybe?

DOn't give her your new address when you move. Her behaviour is really inappropriate and she sounds unbalanced, so you do need to keep your distance as much as possible.

Wigglesworth · 21/10/2008 11:38

What the f**k. She is clearly a nosey bitch who has nothing better going on in her sad life. I agree, you should wind her up more and pretend to do something stupid and outrageous when you suspect she may be watching and see how quickly it gets around your work.
If nothing else it would amuse and entertain you in the last few weeks before you finish working to have bub!

Was she joking? She is seriously out of order

pingping · 21/10/2008 11:40

YANBU She is a freak tell her to mind her business.

SharpMolarBear · 21/10/2008 11:44

that's completely inappropriate
Agree with solidgold, don't forget it or gloss over it. She obviously sees herself as your protector or saviour, tell her to f off.
Can you imagine when you go into labour? She'll be there (happening to glance in the window) telling you when to push and which drugs you're allowed to have.

Wow. She's self rightious (how do you spell that ffs?).

I love the responses here. Maybe you could also have asked if, seeing as she was in the neighbourhood, she could pick up some fags for you?

I would treat her breezily and take everything at face value. I have an aunt who loves to make "suggestions" or comments about my parents/siblings/other random people that all have a sting in the tail. I just ignore her and breezily agree with the words, not the intent:
Her: "Ooh, it's nice that your mum and dad have that new car" in tone implying very very clearly, "but thy could have spent the money much better".
Me: "I know, isn't it great? Dad was laughing at how fast he can go last week."
