To send the little sod who pushed ds over into the mud ds's coat so he can bloody well wash it himself?

Is this unreasonable do you think? I don't see why I should wash it and have to go to bed late so ds has a clean coat for school.

He's 9 Thomcat. I think he's doing something (it would be him annoying them I think) to annoy them but I don't know what. I may be wrong though and they may be mean to him because he's a funny geek.

Bloodand Mutts and I are saying almost the exact same thing just in a slightly different order!

Thomcat · 14/10/2008 22:01

Oh no, that's horrid.
So are the in his class?
What was the build up to him being pushed over?

mrsruffallo · 14/10/2008 22:02

Is it more that nagging feeling that something's not quite right?

PhantomOfTheChocolateCake · 14/10/2008 22:03

ds has said this boy is his friend one day, then will be horrible to him the next, then he's friendly the following day, then won't play...... There are others (two I think) who call ds names, nothing bad (nerd, thicko), I've told him to ignore them, which he has done and they have backed off. He had another boy shut his fingers in a door, then he hit ds in the head in front of the head. He's been warned off now. It just seems as if it's one thing after another.

I don't know. ds said he just ran up to ds, headbutted him in the stomach and ds fell over into the mud. I have an appointment with his teacher after half term.

Oh how horrid for you. And him. Sorry.
Hope it doesn't escalate and is sorted.
Is your son quite happy and not worried or anything about these boys?

PhantomOfTheChocolateCake · 14/10/2008 22:18

He is a very happy child, I'm the worrier. He just tells the teacher and lets them get on with it. I'd like to know what the cause is so I can help ds. I'll chat to his teacher after half term. ds doesn't get why this boy wants to be his friend one day and then tells him that he's not his friend the next day. I'm hoping ds keeps away from him now.

Hope it all works out ok. I'm just glad your DS isn't worried.

PhantomOfTheChocolateCake · 14/10/2008 22:26

Thanks.

Sounds like your son is handling it all well Phantom.

PhantomOfTheChocolateCake · 14/10/2008 22:28

He must be doing something. He's only been there since August, is it normal for one child to attract so many little monsters?

It may be because he is new...still seems horrible though.
I am sure things will settle, does he have other friends there?

PhantomOfTheChocolateCake · 14/10/2008 22:34

It's hard to stand back. I just tell him to ignore them/not to play with them. He's a confident child anyway. I have not been in to moan yet as I'm trying to let the school sort things out. It is hard though.

Kids!

He say's he plays with the whole class and then some. There were alot of new boys, the ones that are being mean are also new. They are all competetive (sp?), ds is very bright so this might be the cause. Or not.
