DraculaNeedArteries - I did ask what I needed to do next, he said, I send all details to MV, who will then contact you for booking in etc.
I just remember everything being done alot quicker the first time round, which was only 18 months ago. I have moved house and changed surgeries since then though.

Fair enough....I just wondered if it was a genuine mistake.

Dracula... my LMP dates were not compatible with the 12 weeks scan date (out by 7 days) but they didn't seem to care at all about my dates. They just said "yes well the scan is the most accurate dating method" and ignored my dates after that.

Also it very much depends on your cycle length. The LMP method is useful if you have a "standard" 28 day cycle as you would have ovulated on "standard" day 14 etc - but some women have anything from 24-36 day cycles or even longer.

i only got one scan, it was at 14.4, my booking date was then also. And i went to inform i was pregnant as soon as i knew, about 7 weeks.
Is that the only date they have available?
Mines was supposed to be 2 weeks before but they were too busy to take me and sent me back home.
You should maybe try and get it brought forward if possible, because you should have had blood tests by now at lease.

How old are you Katiepotatie? If you are thinking of having a Nuchal scan, it needs to be done between 11 and 13 weeks, but is usually done privately.

I am 34, don't think Nuchal Scan is offered here...the info they sent me only says one scan, will be paying again for early and 20 week scans.

The nuchal scan can replace the early/dating scan if you want it to.

Nuchal scans are not offered in this area either. We chose to pay for one at a private clinic to hopefully avoid the need for an amnio later on.

I thought they were suppposed to book at 12 weeks. Is that not the norm. Are they really busy, with lots of pregnancies ?
