Title says it all really the IT guy is a bit of a twit and only blocked it because he saw I was on it so I moan and cussed at my Supervisor and she got it put back on WOOO

Reallytired - what century do you live in?

It takes a lot of traffic to slow down a corporate internet connection - maybe if you were downloading films you could fractionally slow it but 100 people Mumsnetting would not make a noticeable difference.

Sorry didn't mean to resurrect an old thread, came up in active convos for me when using my phone - didn't check the date (although tbh I don't usually when replying to active conversations!)

So it came up in Active Convos for you when it was last posted on in 2008? You could do all sorts of clever things with a time-travelling phone if we could make it go the other way (sending messagess to the past rather than the future)
