dd was naughty and my mum told her she didnt love her

fair enough dd was being a brat and she was told off for it but my mum said I dont love you now, I was abit urked by this. Fair enough she didnt like her actions but to say she didnt love her. DD is 5 btw, Im being pfb about this arent I?

very very sad that someone a child loves and trusts would say this to them

my DCs sometimes say it to each other - why? - because they know it hurts. They are always made to think about what they have said and whether it is true and apologise, hug and make up

agree bundle, always disapprove of the actions, not the child

This is so cruel you never tell a child you dont love them, no matter what they do wrong.

no dd hasnt mentioned it thank god but I have spent all day telling dd how much i love her!
